Why Popular Detergents Sell So Well
These reasons keep the best selling dishwasher detergent products on top.
Trusted brands
Cascade and Finish are widely recommended and easy to find.
Easy pods
Premeasured pods remove guesswork, which drives repeat purchases.
Pods, gels or powder
Pods are premeasured and the easiest to use. Gels and powders cost less per load and let you adjust the dose for small loads or hard water. Most premium formulas today come as pods.
Cost per load
Divide the pack price by the number of loads. Bulk packs, gels and powders are the cheapest per load; premium pods cost more but save time on scrubbing.
Hard water changes everything
Hard water leaves white film and spots. If you see cloudy glasses, add rinse aid or a citric-acid booster like Lemi Shine, or use a premium pod with built-in shine protection.
Before You Buy a Best Seller
Popular does not always mean right for you:
- Check your water hardness.
- Compare cost per load across sizes.
- Check scent preferences.
- Look for the newest formula.
